3 days and 2 nights to discover the Culture of the Bamileke People of West Cameroon
TOUR DESCRIPTION
This trip is to discover the expressive culture and traditions of the West Region of Cameroon. You will meet the hardworking and dynamic Bamileke and Bamoun people, who are very attached to their roots. You will be able to enjoy the beautiful and varied landscapes, mystical waterfalls, sacred places, ancient traditional places and traditions, a perculiar people and culture and colour folklores, festivals and immaterial tourist heritages of the Bamileke and Bamoun people of Cameroon.
Drive from Yaounde to Ebebda; Stop at the Sanaga Bridge and admire the local people extracting sand in the river; Continuation to the West Region and stop to visit the Chief’s Palace of Batoufam; Meet and discuss with the king before departure to Bafoussam; Dinner and overnight in hotel.
After breakfast, drive to Foumban for the discovery of the rich and exceptional culture of the Bamoun people; Return to Bafoussam; Dinner and Overnight.
After breakfast, visit the Métché waterfalls and return to Yaoundé. End of tour.
