Excursion to the Yaounde – Ahala Eco-park (6-8 hours)

If you are a lover of outdoor activities, nature, parks and zoos, and yet don’t want to go far away from Yaounde, the Eco-park, situated just opposite the Tradex pumping station Ahala, Yaounde, is the best place for you to visit. It is a pretty new attraction in the city with a huge potential. The are many species of animal and activities to do here. It is even possible to have delicious barbecue.

The site is beautiful and clean with so many local species of animals, some of which are confined and wonderfully catered for. A friendly enthusiastic guide and conservator is always present to provide you with interesting information. He knows tons of information about the animals and most of the animals in the park were rescued and brought up by him. You shall obviously be marvelled to see him take-off animals like the chimps out of their enclosures. The apes absolutely loved him.

The park also has a very nice restaurant where you can order a local delicacy and drink. Overall you shall very much enjoy your stay in this park and shall be pleased with the animal experience and the customer service such that you wouldn’t resist recommending it to others. This is the « zoo » you will want to go to!!!
