Itinerary: Yaounde – Efok – Obala – Batchenga – Yaounde

Tour description

This circuit will lead you to the SEXA centre at Efok in the Lekie division. It is a Roman Catholic socio-religious centre where young girls who were enthroned for marriage were trained for marital life for six months pro to marriage. You shall also visit the mausoleum of Andre Marie Mbida, first prime minister of East Cameroun (from May 12, 1957 to February 16, 1958), where, the son shall narrate to you the political history of Cameroon and the political pathways, imprisonment, sufferings and death of this emblematic national hero as tears runs down your cheek.

At Obala, ‘’the slaughter house of Yaounde’’, you shall ascend the Mount Loua to visit the Marial caves where pilgrimage is practised mostly by catholic faithful.

While in Batchenga, a local guide will take you for a city tour where you shall be shown the milky tree who leaves are used as rappers to wrap fresh meat in the market. There, you shall continue to the Nachtigal fall for a stroll at the shore and observation of the cascades swirling and the ambiance of ferry transportation on the River Sanaga.

This tariff is established on the basis of 20 participants. It consists of services such as car rental, fuel, guides, lodging and food catering with gaseous drinks.
